My OH's step mother got a water infection and when I went to see her she told me she was still drinking her tea. So I asked why she shouldn't and she told me she'd got a water infection but was still using the water from the tap.

She hadn't realised what the doctor meant by a water infection. I explained things and got out their medical dictionary and showed her the section on cystitis as that's what she had. :-S
