THE WALES POST MORTEM :-0:-0 :-0
WE WOZ ROBBED!!! ;-)
What a fantastic Test Game we witnessed on Saturday, as Wales took on the Championship Favourites, England, at The Principality Stadium, Cardiff.
It was neck-and-neck for much of the game, with both teams defending heroically at each other's Trylines.
***PLAYING PARTICULARLY WELL WAS DAN BIGGAR... There was a lot of talk in rugby circles about starting young Sam Davies as Fly-Half instead of Dan. This was even more advisable, in the minds of many, as Dan had suffered a bad rib injury 6 days earlier, in the Italy v Wales game in Rome.
BUT DAN PROVED THEM ALL WRONG ... AND HAD AN IMMENSE GAME! Well done Dan Biggar<3
IT ALL CHANGED IN THE LAST MINUTES OF THE GAME!
After Wales' fantastic defence against the English at the Welsh Tryline, they were under pressure to clear the line with just minutes to go.
Instead of kicking it into touch for an England Throw-in, giving Wales the chance to regroup, Jonathan Davies (13) kicked it halfway up the centre of the pitch, and into England's hands.
This gave England and their Left Winger Elliot Daly, who has the speed of the Road Runner, the chance of reaching the Tryline before Wales had got back to the left side of the field.....ALL OVER.
OTHER BAD DECISIONS ... ... On 2 occasions, instead of going for the 3 point penalty option of Leigh Halfpenny's kicking boots, Wales chose to use their penalty in an attempt at a Try, and failed, thereby losing a probable 6 Points on the score! :-0 :-( :-( :-(
Well that was MY TAKE on it anyway ;-) :-D :-D :-D ;-)
WELL DONE ENGLAND .... UNBEATEN FOR THE LAST 16 GAMES :-)
