Morning Anng and all,

Dull and wet looking out there this morning and its 11 degrees here so 1 degree warmer here then . There's not much wind out there as I can't see the trees moving. Hope it stays dry for your walk to the hairdressers and back.

Shopping comes today and no subs so far so thats good.

Good morning all very dark and damp here at the moment 10 degrees, I can't quite tell if the wind has dropped but it is not raining at the moment. hair appointment at 12 o'clock so I hope it doesn't rain too heavily.

I enjoyed meeting my friends Mel we had a lovely chat. Lunch was ok but I have had better in the Beefeater. I got the impression they had a Monday Chef on duty. staff were more interested in chatting to each other I felt than serving. Garlic mushrooms were very hard (overcooked), fish and chips was fine but the chips were insipid (white) although soft, so cooked. But it was 'OK'.

Why is it that it dos'nt matter what time I go round to corn the big girls it always starts raining.

WAter man did'nt do anything but said he would get the blokes round to take the stop cock they put in back out and see if that makes any difference so I am no better off than I was bedore, still low pressure.

Mandy I bought a loose bottom one years ago from lakeland and the bottom never has come out but I still use it. I just line it with greaseproof and it comes out ok.

No no more mice just the three so I am hoping no more find their way in.

Really windy here and now its 12 degrees with some sun and clouds.

Sunny now but first thing it tipped down with rain ,the wind seems to be picking too.

Mel any more mice or do you thing you've caught them all now ,I've just done a pile of ironing ,I was going to get my Christmas cakes made but have decided to buy two new tins after getting my old ones out and looking at them ,one is a loose bottom one and its a devil to get the loose bottom bit in level .

Friends (I have been friends with her for 47 years) taking me for lunch at the Beefeater in Gloucester. Picking me up at 12.30.

Very windy here this morning but 13 degrees and the suns trying to come out. I have three parcels to post this morning and it could be 4 if one lady would pay.

Nothing planned for the rest of the day but I could do some ironing.

Days like today I am envious of your fire. I have just put the heating on low but it is not the same as seeing an actual fire.

Morning girls,

I only woke up at 10.53am, I had been up once in the night for the loo and it was still dark so went back to bed. Fatal thing to do really but I went to bed late as I was watching Poldark again on Iplayer and did'nt realise the time hence late to bed late to rise.

Its grey here this morning and only 10 degrees now and pc says rain to stop. Rained in the night cos it battered the bedroom window.

well not seen BIL this weekend and I don't expect he will turn up today as he usually goes back to Farmborough tonight back to work.

Very foggy when we got up about quarter to eight but that's cleared and the sun is shining now.

Anng we really enjoyed the festival of remembrance and thought it was well done too ,like Claire Balding doing it she has a nice clear voice .

Colin is just lighting the fire as the family are coming this morning for coffee and like to see a nice fire .

Good morning all, a grey start to the day here but 7 degrees so no frost. I think we are forecast rain. I do need to get down the garden and remove some ivy from where the shed was but not if it rains of course. I do also have a list of indoor jobs needing doing. I always have a list and work my way through it. Trouble is at the same time adding more jobs to the end of it.

slept quite well last night, I was later to bed as I was watching the festival of remembrance which, last night I thought, was really well done. I do love to watch the Royal Marines.

sun is still shining here and 10 degrees so not cold in the sun. Trouble is it is so low that it is hard walking into it. Hard to see where you are walking. Strangely I found it was better if I took my reactolite glasses off as going dark didn't help. I did have a quick walk into the park just to see if the trees are changing. They are, but very slowly.

Mel I talk to him all the time, sometimes I do tell him off for leaving me to sort things out that I don't always understand. Like, why are there so many plugs plugged in behind the TV so I can't reach them what are they for/doing?

I fee fior you Anng as I know how hard it is at these times. Keep your chin up and thinkj of all the lovely memories you have shared and he's not far away from you. I still say godnight to my oh and talk to him telling him the thigs I have done.

No mouse today so I am hoping I have cracked it.

Its 10 degrees here and the suns just gone in. Not done the shop yet but have cleaned the bathroom and done up two parcels to post on Monday and there will be another one to do up later on as I have a bid on something which finishes at 3.38pm. If you get a bid it will sell.

Nice to see you Mandy and I have ordered my stuff for the Christmas cake. I am going to make Em one this year and a small one for me and for my neighbours.

Good morning all, the sun is shining and it is now 8 degrees, when I got up we had had a frost and it was 0 degrees.
I was going to go into town to visit the large winter market at the docks. But I had a really bad night with hardly any sleep and absolutely no idea why. I feel very 'washed out' this morning so will wait until another weekend to go to the market. they are there every weekend thorough until the beginning of December. Instead I will potter and also walk down to post daughter's birthday card.

Not a good weekend for me as tomorrow it will be three years since T was taken into hospital, the last time I ever saw him or spoke other than muddled messages on the phone. Today is the anniversary of the continuing falls. These memories are so hard as I always will wonder if I could have done more for him.

Very frosty here this morning but the sun has soon lifted it .
I have just made two Christmas puddings so they are steaming away ,I usually do smaller ones rather than one big one as I find the basins fit in the steamer better ,I do four small for us here as we have the family for Christmas as usual and then I make two for them to have .
I need to get my Christmas cakes made this next week too ,one for us and one for family .

Vera thanks for letting us know as we always wonder if everything is OK when there's no posts for a while ,hope you get things all sorted .

Let's hope you've caught all the mice now Mel the little blitters can do a lit of damage to things .
Yes you've got the right day for the shop lol ,it's strange how you get into your head it's a certain day last week both Colin and I got the days muddled up .

Anng thats good you found homes for some of your pots ,nice to know they are of use to someone .
Do you see much of the cat now the weathers colder ,Mel perhaps you need a cat that would keep you mouse free .
I wonder if Jane's Thomas is still going strong .

Morning all,

The sun is up and it looks to be a promissing day and its 9 degrees and no wind that I can see of.

Now I do have the shop to do today as it is Saturday unless my pc is wrong. It is also Sam's birthday so I shall drop him in a card but he most probably has football this morning.

Not looked in the trap yet.
