You could say that Catie lol.I think I could write a book I often wonder how I got to where I am ,being married to a Doctor.I think he still wonders how on earth he ended up with me !!
I wonder too how I am still here ,as I did get myself into some pickles when I worked in Greece as a Nanny at the age of 18.But here I am .I think a far more sensible person now ,(but that's only because I'm older).I still like a laugh ,but when I think back to when I was younger it makes me realise how naive I was and bl**dy stupid.But that is all part of growing up I think.

Hi All
OH wouldn't let me on the computer last night as I had been complaining that I had to wait ages to connect to my e-mails and it kept freezing up and would not turn off in the end .OH didn't get till bed till 11.30 after sitting at the screen all night fiddling with it.
Been up at daughter no 1 house most of the day she had a doctors app as she thought she had blocked ears but it turned out she was OK.
so looked after Sofia took her for a walk then gave her lunch while her mum was at the DRS, then played , then another walk. then played again while her mum got some housework done, they were having friends over for dinner tonight and daughter wanted peace to tidy, and hoover up and clean the bathroom,
Hope all you folk with sore throats are better, glad to see you are keeping up with the stories Sheila.

I'm off for some milk then it's to bed.
Hopefully Computer will be good tomorrow and I can chat again. It's been very good tonight so far

Crikey!! I didn't realise it has gone 10 now.I am going to let Chester out for a wee wee ,and then I shall be away.James and girlfriend are at the cinema now.I think the film finishes sometime a little before midnight.
See you all again in the morning.Will be keeping fingers crossed for Beryl and hope she regains conciousness soon.

know wonder you did nursing Jane Catie sounds fun too .I just phoned the hospital and spoke to the ward sister Beryls regained conciousness and who was the first person she wanted to see this guy whoes bike she fell off
to know if he was ok. The nurse said she is very lucky to be alive had she gone over the front of the motor cycle and not fell off on the side she would been very seriously hurt . or dead
Her poor family are sat outside and she wanted to know if
the guy who nearly killed her was ok. My husband said
I must go he said she knew you were going away and meeting her Wednesday.So I will visit next couple of days
and thats it I am off to Bodelwyddan castle in Denbighshire near Rhyl to a Warner hotel in a castle
and the Glen Miller evening. I just want a break away
from all these problems annoyed at Beryl she knew the dangers and how it would upset me if anything happened
this always happens to me get fed up of selfish people
who do not consider my feeling. ok so she did not know
about the car pulling out but shes daft at her age. I will not be on here for a while running out of stories and things to say. Jane your a laugh bet you made a great nurse and doctors wife. nite nite have a lovely week end everyone

I am afraid to say that I used to ride pillion on the boys bykes when I was young. I was a right rocker! Leather jeans or powder blue skin tight jeans and black top and I had a pair of sealskin boot which looked like the crepe soled ones the boys wore. They too had a crepe sole. Lether jacket with my name on the back in studs that my parents did'nt know I had. Used to go out in the sheepskin jacket they bought me and change in the greenhouse and go out in my leathers. Then one day I got stuck over Chingford way and there were no buses home! Rang dad and said I was staying with a girlfriend for the night but was really with a boy! He said no your not tell me where you are and I'll come and pick you up. He also said if I did'nt come home he would sell my pony in the morning. That brought me to my senses and I let him pick me up at the top of Friday Hill. He was fuming when he got to me and I had forgotten that I had my leather jacket on. They threw that one away the next day!! I had another new one this time which I kept at the next boyfriends house.

Oh gosh that was not me was it I deleted just of mine hardly my
fault though, just been reading all messages before I go to bed
wont be on now for sometime thank you for the messages
from you and your wife, I see a couple of new people at least I
sent some that re kingled a few memoroes for people.
Did not expect to get rude messages from other source.

fun and love having the memories re kingled I used to tell my hubby to go faster on his bike.

The suns out today and the washing is on the line. Hope it stays dry today.

It is so nice to have new people on the site with their memoies too.

Hope Sheila has a nice weekend away and makes a quick recovery after her op.

Also thinking of Beryl and hope she is a bit better today after her nasty ordeal.

Crumbs Sheila ,I think you really do need to get away for that break.I bet your poor dog turned his nose up at the Salad lolol.Have a fab time and enjoy every moment.Beryl sounds as though she is going to fine,so you won't need to worry.

Sheila, hope you have a nice break. Beryl sounds a real character and I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

Jane, I'm not surprised you are married to a doc. From my experience a lot of them need livening (sp) up and you sound just right for the job lol. In all seriousness, it must be a heck of a job and someone with a happy disposition would be needed. I could tell some stories about docs.... but this isn't the place lol My OH is a Med Rep. Originally he worked for a well known chemist as a pharmacist, but left to earn more money as a Rep. He now visits GP's informing them about different drugs. Mmm the stories he tells me would make your hair curl lol

Ha! Ha! Foxed you there!! Today I've done housework!!!! even washed the kitched floor!! Went for a mammogram last week, got the 'all clear' today which is quite a relief! Have got hundred's of tomatoes so am going to freeze them together with the rest of the gooseberries! see you all later!

How do you freeze your tomatoes Elizabeth? Just as they are?.I don't think we will be overwhelmed with ours this year.Last year they just went mad!
I think my dwarf beans have just about finished now.Pity,as they never last long enough .
Must crack on with this blooming ironing I didn't do much yesterday.I keep saying I'll do it when it rains .......but it hasn't rained yet lol
