Jane Thank you for being so nice about everything take care. I am up because April came down crying and needed a cuddle have just got her back to bed she said she is fed up of daddy being a star she wants him back to play jump up to the moon. Matt lifted her up in the air and kind of whizzed her round saying jump up to the moon
Poor grandads been taking that game over he s been trying to get her up to the moon but last time he put his back out and swore like anything.

Let you know how it goes we are going at 9am so had better get some sleep the funeral is Thursday at 3pm

How Beryl could say that film was fun its called Buried and its about a guy in Iraq who is a lorry driver working for a company and he and friends are ambushed and when he wakes up this guy he is in coffin with a lighter
and a cell phone later on he finds a few more things the whole film is set with him in the coffin. I went with Ryan to day to see it we went to meet a friend of his that never turned up and got caught up with a policital march in Bham
hundreds of people everywhere the traffic was going no where and it was raining none stop so we decided to go to the movies but two films were full so we went to see the only one we could see which was Buried and that was almost packed out in the cinema the buses were stuck also and everyone had the same idea.

The film was fantastic but do not see it you have a weak heart or anything my heart was racing so much it was Matts favourite film but to be honest I think if Matt had known his fate he might have thought differently about it.
I can amagine it would have like it he liked those scary films. I asked him to put a video on at his house and it was really scary a very complicated kind of mans film You and Fritz might enjoy Buried Jane. I cannot believe I saw it now.
We could not get to the car park to get the car because of the march everyone in Bham seem to know about that conservative demonstration except Ryan and me.Do not have a clue where his friend went to.
Well take care I have celebrated Matts life now must go and see ther poor lad buried. Wish I could turn back the clock. TAKE CARE AND YOUR FAMILY xxxx

Matt made a will only last year when a couson in Australia died in a car accident he grew up with his couson and he was really upset. This lad had no relatives so left a huge amount of money to Matt. Matt left half to Jess and half to April but not until shes 18 does April inherit it.
He said I want to be buried somewhere in the hills none of your headstoned graves just bury me and remember me with happy faces music and flowers lots of them .Jessica,s complied to those wishes it seems to bury Matt where he wants to be buried is costing a lot of money but she says Matt left her plenty and she wants him not the money. I shall be crying soon cannot go to bed Aprils back been waiting for her to go to sleep then I am kipping on the couch only way to get any rest take care been reading more threads about food gardening and Mels fantastic words Have a nice week everyone those of you who took the time to remember thank you .. hope shirls son will be ok. and Mels mum and frank take care I deleted my family tree accidently tonight .Catie have a nice week also and David hope your brother and wife are feeling better say this all now in case I cannot get back for sometime I just do not know whats happening up there .

Morning All
Well so much for me being tired last night,I had a dreadful sleep.Hannah and Chris are both going to have a bit of a lie in this morning, and I have just popped down to make myself a cuppa. Then I will slope back into the spare bed and watch the news.I don't have a tv in my bedroom.
It seems like the middle of the night it's so dark.Chester is in his bed snoring away, but I know when he sees me take my cup upstairs he will be up there before me waiting on the bed lol

Morning All,

Jane you were an early bird!!

Sun is shining here and the sky is clear blue.

I don't watch Downton Abbey untill tonight on Replay but I am looking forward to it.

As to the bit of my story that Mandy could'nt understand.

My misses had a bit of a bake-up in the cloam oven and she did some potato and meat pasties and a few tarts and such like and wrapped them up in a clean cloth and packed them in her market basket ready for the morning.

Afternoon all,
What a Blood# aufull day yesterday. Got up and had tea and toast, read the paper. and prepared dinner. Put meat in about 4.30pm for 6pm dinner. Made yourshire pudding, put dish in oven to heat up, When I took it out I burnt both hands. Then poured Pudding mix into one of these bendy dishes, as I transfered it tio the oven, the dish bent in half and pudding mix, went all down oven door, in between double glass, in bottom of oven, down the units, all over the floor, and of course because the oven was hot. IT COOKED ONTO EVERYTHING IN THE OVEN. Ros, cleaned everywhere down, and this morning I have had the door off, the glass apart, and cleaned everywhere. It left me in such a state, I trembled for the rest of the day, and had terrible pains in my chest. After I took my tablets, things quitened down. After a good nights sleep. I feel a lot better today.

Have been in jogging bottoms all morning, quite warm out.
Have to go for FLU jab at 3pm.Nice day here at the moment.
Son had terrible storms Sat/Sun. in St. Vincent, but says it is "SOOOO HOT" Hotel is 5***** and food is excellent. Everything is included. but neither of them drink. Good Job Jane and I aren't there, they wouldn't make much money out of us. The whole holiday/buisness trip is being paid for my the developers, who's properties they are selling. There was no room for ROS and I. BOO HOO.!!!!

Fiona Report 4 Oct 2010 13:01

Oh!!!!! Frank
I have done that before, always catching my hands or bare arms on the grill or oven. it really gives you a nasty burn ,hope they are feeling more comfortable today
Do you have any reactions to your flu jab.? dad went for the first time many years ago and he never went back again. he ended up with a terrible painful rash down below, which lasted for days, the doctor said Dad was allergic to the flu jab. so far when he has gets a cold he has coped with it.

Hi Everyone,

Frank.... You are always in the wars.... Ros needs to wrap you up in cotton wool. Hope you aren't suffering too badly today. Thanks for all the emails.... They always make me smile lol

Fiona... Hope Sophia picks up soon. There are lots of bugs going around here. Just hope this lot don't pick something up - but guess they are bound too at some point.

Yesterday lunchtime was a bit horrendous. We went out to lunch with my parents at a local pub which serves a really good carvery. Sat down and noticed there was a large group sat close by. It was a family out to celebrate a birthday. They weren't eating because they were waiting for another family member to arrive. We had just started to eat and through the door staggered a chap aged about 20. He was covered in blood and in a bad way. He just managed to get through the door and then passed out. My father jumped out of his chair as quick as a flash and attended to him. Someone then called an ambulance. The girlfriend who was part of the family gathering, was hysterical. To cut a long story short, the chap lived close by and had decided to walk to the pub. He was set upon by a couple of thugs, who smashed his head against a brick wall and stole his mobile. So sad. What a world we live in. The poor chap is still in hospital, but thankfully will be ok.

Afternoon All,

Ohh dear Frank.......I think we have all got burnt on the oven like that. I bought some of those bendy baking things to do some cakes and they do bend..a lot and can slip from your hands easily when the contents are liquid. I can just imagine cleaning it all off!!

Well I was going to paint the kitchen ceiling and all sorts of jobs, but OH is flagging a bit today and I just can't be bothered either now!! lol I think he is asleep at the moment. We seem to be a bad influence on each other at the moment. Still, it is nice to please yourselves.

I am booked in on some more talks at the records office. I think the subjects are the Poor Law, Servants and Agricultural Labourers.....should be interesting.

Poor little Sofia must be grizzly with that temperature Fiona. Good to keep an eye on things and I hope she is soon better. FIL and MIL refuse to have flu jabs, but OH and I have ours each year. Luckily we have had no problems.

Hope Shirl's son is ok, she has quite a long journey to reach him.

Annx

Annx Report 4 Oct 2010 13:54

Ohh Catie how awful! It was lucky your dad was there to assist. Like you say, what a world we live in these days. Why do that all for the sake of a flippin mobile as well. I do wish they would come up with some REAL deterrents for these thugs. They are just greedy and a waste of space.

I sat in a carpark yesterday and 3 lads were sitting on a high wall at the edge of the carpark. They had bottles of coke and were pouring them over a car parked below. Then they started taking mouthfuls and seeing how far they could spit it over the car below. They got up and walked down to a horse chestnut tree a bit further along pulling branches off the other trees as they went. Then they started moving traffic cones about and using them like loud hailers to shout foul language before throwing them about. I was so glad I hadn't parked my car there with the roof down!!!!

Just about to post when SKYPE went. No 2 son in St Vincent. Raining cats and dogs, everywhere flooded, plants and bushes that have been planted around the complex are all floating away.Still up in high 30s to anything but cool.

Yes, I am much better this morning, all oven bits in dish washer.

I was quite ill with a flu jab thirty years ago. The company I worked for laid it on for all staff. I went down with a fever for three weeks, But touch wood, since having them since OAP no ill effect.

I know what I would like to do with all these YOBS. but it is unprintable. Ros, keeps telling me I will end up getting a good hiding, the way I tell them off when I see the things they get up to. Who the HELL do they think they are.????
I can see that before long there will be groups of vigulanties sorting this Country out. The Government and the law don't seem to do it !!!!

There I've said my bit.

You are right Mandy.... lunch wasn't the same after that. We were all so sorry for the lad and his family.
Happy Birthday to your hubby..... Hope you all have a nice time together.

Ann.... The trouble being that the scenes we witnessed yesterday, are part and parcel of everday Britain. What a sad reflection on our society.

Frank... I stepped in to help once.... Never again. I was travelling on a train and there was a woman of about 40 in a nearby seat. With her were two young children of about 5 and 7. It soon became clear that the woman was really drunk. She was shouting about and her speech was really slurred. Everyone ignored her . Then she lit a cigarette .... No smoking allowed.... Everyone ignored her. The children meanwhile were running up and down and making a nuisance of themselves. Still nothing was said. The crunch came when the woman fell asleep and the kids were running riot. When the conductor came along, I explained what had happened. He said the woman was ''well known'' to the staff. Anyway, he had to wake the woman up for her tickets. He had a hard job to do so. When she came round, he talked to her about the fact she had been smoking, her kids etc. The woman obviously caught me looking and listening and it dawned on her that I might have complained. She went nuts. Threatened to 'kill me' - I kid you not. She was really drunk and out of control. In the end I had to move into another carriage because she tried to assault me. The railway police were called and she was eventually escorted off the train. When I told Andrew, he said '' next time mind your own blo##y buisiness''. Yes... I will lol

Catie ,that is terrible. The poor lad ,and what a shock for his family to see him in that awful state. It makes my blood boil when you see this kind of thing. It must have spoiled everyones day.Not the kind of thing your Dad needed when only 2 days into his retirement .Did the party on Saturday go well?

Now Frank.I really don't know what we are going to do with you !!!!!!.I hope those hands aren't too painful now.Did you not use the oven gloves?

Happy Birthday Mr.Mandy lol

We have had a lovely day weather wise.No rain so far.

Yes Ann good job you hadn't parked your car where those louts were. You would not have been amused lol. They wouldn't treat their own property like that would they.

I am still on the hunt for Damsons!!
Now I need to get all this ironing put away, rather than just looking at it.

jane, the party went very well thank you. My father had no idea at all - thought we were going out for a meal. He was quite taken back by the number of people who had wanted to be there with him. Most of the family were there and lots of people from work. It was a lovely evening and one that will stay with us all.

Well, I'm off to put up my feet. Returned to a mountain of chores.... But everyone was smiling, so who cares lol. I'm also a fan of Downton Abbey and that's what we're going to tune into shortly. BFN
