shopping trolleys are the pits aren't they.I often find they are best pushed sideways lol.The heavier they are the more difficult to push (in the right direction) |

When the time comes,I won't be worried about having a zimmer ,as long as it has 6 gears and a CD player lol |

Dont like those trolleys you have to pull. I prefera four-wheeled one that you can use as a zimmer! |

My sister has a cat called Kia .Every morning she moves next door and spends the day with the woman who was widowed a couple of years ago.At night she comes home for supper and bed lol.I think she goes for peace and quiet as there are 4 dogs and another cat at home !!!!! |

Doesn't the saying go "you can own a dog but a cat owns you"One of Murphy's kittens stayed with us for almost 3 years ,but she was a very strict mum and he was often skelped around the ears for misdemeaners then he went missing and it was several weeks later we discovered he'd moved in with an elderly lady in the next street. We just told our friends that Rocky had packed his bags and left home! He did visit occasionally but was much happier not being treated like a baby by his mum lol.The elderly lady adored him and spoiled him rotten |

The first cat we got ,3 weeks after we got married, was a tortoiseshell called Murphy ,her claim to fame was the day she arrived home with a live hamster. We tried all over the neighbourhood to find his owner but no luck, so we bought him a cage and he stayed with us for 2 years,he was never really our hamster though,he was Murphy's she used to watch him lovingly through the bars and when we let him out she would pick him up gently and take him back to his cage.We had her for 13 years and we still keep her photograph on display 22 years later. |

I might have tried that myself last month when we had 2 little fieldmice take up residence ,usually only saw them round about midnight and O.H. thought I was hallucinating.I ordered some humane mouse traps and as luck would have it no.1 mouse popped into it while the little ones were here and they were thrilled ,wanted to keep it as a pet it was a lovely wee thing and next day it's partner surrendered too.I told the kids that the first one was waiting for it's mum so we drove 3 miles and set it free in the same field where their papa freed it's little friend. When we got back my grandson wanted to know if they behaved like the mice in cartoons when we were in bed and me being me I said yes and embroidered the story to keep them amused so now they believe I play host to Tom and Jerry at night and they'ree desperate to stay so they can watch! Will I ever learn !lol |

Jane, I do that and sit there thinking , 'I thought it was later than that!' Then the last time you wake up its nearly time to get up, you doze and wake up late! |

you can buy the flaxseed capsules in any chemist or health foodshop ,though they are often more expensive .Maybe trying them on their own could help.I know that a friend takes them for joint problems even superdrug or the other budget shops and maybe even Asda .It might be worth a try.IBS can be helped by cutting out caffeine, wheat dont use bran ,I know my MIL has always sprinkled bran on her food and added it to mice and stews but that can irritate it and the most important thing is keeping your stress levels in check.Relaxation tapes, breathing exercises and meditation all help.I sometimes feel as if I've had every stress related illness known to man,Usually manage to figure out how to control them though, all exept "the change" |

When you have 2 people to feed and both need different things from their diet, the whole thing becomes a nightmare. Multiple illnesses seem to be a common thing with us over 70's and I wonder how much it goes back to nutrition in childhood. My OH is diabetic and has autonomic neuropathy which affects his bowels, with only some control on many days. He is also arthritic. Drs disagree as to wether he has heart disease but has been carted off to hospital a few times with extreme chest pain. One Dr thinks that it is part of the neuropathy. My problems are also multiple, but I wont bore you again with them! |

I'm sure you could just toss all the ingrediennts in your breadmaker on the cake proggramme and ...voilla cake to come home to.Try also the Burgen linseed bread available at all supermarkets ,linseed and other omega 3's work very well for fibromyalgia ,my daughter suffered hell with it for a long time until she was advisedd to take flaxseed capsules and a supplement called MSN by Jan de Freis and I have to say she found it a great help.Sadly she also has a variety of complaints, polycystic ovaries and endymetriosis amongst them .If shes careful with her diet and takes all her supplements she can cope with daily life.I've ordered the HRT cake from yorkshire and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition and I'm north of Glasgow. |

I went through a stage a few years ago of making notes of my dreams and keeping a notepad by the bed so if I woke in the night I could jot things down.I wish I had kept it now. |
