I have been lucky and have never had a migraine.Fingers crossed Lizzie for you.
Christine poor you with FM.You mention Tinnitus again.It made me realise since my Hot flushes have diminished I haven't noticed the tinnitus so much.Especially at night.Although I know it is still there.Mmm Interesting !.
I do get stabbing joint pains,mainly my right thumb and left big toe lol.I know the toe is Arthritic.I can't wear heels as I can't bend the toe.Which is a shame as there are some fabulous shoes out there.
It's great this thread is still going even if it has slowed down.

It was much more comfortable last night.I too slept well ,but did wake up about 3 am and put the fan on.OH was grumbling a couple of hours later saying he was freezing ,so he pulled the duvet up on his side and I just kept the sheet.
I wonder how warm it is tonight ,I haven't seen the forecast yet.

I was up at 4am too.I woke because of OH snoring,Then went for a wee.Suddenly remembered I had left the fan on all night for the dog,so went downstairs to check it.Let dog out for a wee,had a drink and a biscuit,went back to bed ,couldn't go back to sleep so read my book listening to the birds in full song lol.Finally fell asleep just as OH was getting up.Had family arriving at 10 so was in the shower at half 7,Tesco just before 10.
Have had brilliant day but am now ready for bed again.LOL

I have wilted ,Lorraine.I think the sweat that has been running of me today is just the heat ...not flushes lol
It looks like tomorrow will be a degree higher than today.How will I cope????
I have 3 fans going in the lounge.One at floor level for the dog.He is not coping too well.
We still haven't had dinner as OH is watering the garden which takes forever.

My 93 yr old neighbour is deaf and has tinnitus and wont admit it. She is constantly worrying people to go and listen to the noise she can hear in her house. Theres something wrong with the electric she says! Sons know she has tinnitus, from taking too many pain relief over the years before it was known that aspirin can cause it.

No explanation given Lorraine.I was given an MRI scan on my head just to rule anything nasty out.Just one of those things I was told.I had my eyes and hearing tested before I went to GP.Everything is normal ........but OH still says I'm deaf lol.That's because he speaks so quietly !!!!!!!!!
I think tinnitus is quite common with the change .Why ? I have no idea.I was cleared of Menieres.I don't know my family history as `i was adopted.Have found a few things out as to why 3 siblings have died.1 from TB in the 50's .1 from a heart attack or sudden adult death,and 1 from ovarian cancer.
One of my Birth Brothers did say that B Mother did have a problem with 1 ear .
Goodness knows what I have inherited lol

Lol Lorraine with your friend.Maybe he needs to stop looking for a lady and one will just pop up out of the blue for him.I think it sounds like he is trying too hard.
My tinnitus sometimes sounds like a far off bell ringing ,like the chimes on a clock.It does my head in.Other times it is like an interference like you would hear on a radio station not tuned in right.(if that makes sense)

Lorraine ,I tend to sleep on the side that I have tinnitus so my ear is buried in the pillow.It does help,but then when I turn over in sleep it wakes me up and I think what is that noise.I will sit up ,have a good listen and then realise it is my ear lol.In the daytime I always have either the radio or tv on even if I'm not watching or listening as it is background noise so I don't notice the tinnitus then.
Is all your work done now on the house?,and how is your friend with the 'hair' doing' ? lolol

Hi Lorraine ,long time no speak lol.I have tinnitus in my right ear and it can be a real nuisance at night when all is quiet.
As for sleeping well has anyone tried Badger Balm sleep balm.It is really good .I just rub some on my temples and forehead each night(not sure where I am supposed to rub it really) but touch wood I have had so much better nights .Only thing is my weird dreams lol.It is worth trying

Does anyone have changes in their skin pigment .OH noticed some marks on my back that look like dark smudges.I don't know how long they have been there ,but am wondering if it could be to do with the Change.

Hi ladies, glad to see that you're gradually getting through it girls...it's no jok! Phew it's been so warm today...but touch wood the tablets seem to be keeping the flushes at bay for me and I'm sleeping like a baby! I don't even hear hubby snorring! I'm making up for all the kip I've been missing this past eighteen months I think. I'm dreading coming off these tablets though!

It's no fun in this heat with flushes as well is it.Mine have definitely got less ,long may it continue I say ,but I won't hold my breath lol

Fingers crossed for you Pam that long may your flushes stay gone.I have to say .........touch wood mine seem to be far less now .I do still get a bad one though as soon as I wake in the morning.I always say to OH ...Open the window.He says it's already open lol

So far so good with the tablets, the flushes are gone...I'm not saying that they are to be taken for years...but at the moment it's making such a difference to my life! Almost from day one too.

Dooctor has prescribed me Femoston Conti...so we'll see if it makes a difference...I hope so!

Another bad night of sweating...enough is enough! Going to take my doctor up on his offer of HRT I think...will pop along to see him next week.

Yes, I will be suffering a mammogram next Tuesday. I know I only have one boob to do, but it still hurts! Have to take my chain off too, which I find difficult. I find myself asking the nearest female to have a go!
